Coupon Codes

Hello

Currently I wish to include coupons in the shopping cart which is OK (once you work out how to use the right templates).

But the coupon code box appears with a default of NETQUOTEVAR:COUPONCODE in it which the script tries to validate on every form action.

I assume it should be blank when it loads and retian the value when it submits.

Anyone know what I can do to correct it?

The text box is set to:

<input type="text" name="COUPONCODE" size="20" maxlength="255" value="NETQUOTEVAR:COUPONCODE" class="input" />

Hi,

Can you check in 'Design | Options | Layouts' that you have 'Template for shopping cart and checkout' selected for your 'View Cart Layout'. If not, then please select it and update your site.

Yes I had read a post by Nadeem and that certainly improved things but didn't affect the text field value being the NETQUOTEVAR.

I'll take it down as soon as possible because it gets in the wsy of ordering by trying to validate "NETQUOTEVAR:COUPONCODE" as a coupon code.

Hi,

Try replacing Act_ShoppingCart.html from your original theme folder (c:\program files\actinic v7\formats\themes\theme name)
