Hi,

I have accidentally overwritten my local installation of actinic with an out-of-date version.

Is it possible, in Actinic 4, to repair/update this using files from a website that is up-to-date and working fine?

thanks,
John.

you can use the website to re-build the website in a manual way. Ie use the generated html files to re-create the database.

The main issue here is that the website is generated from actiniccatalog.mdb and the ACT html files

without a copy of the database you are stuffed

Haven't you got a backup of your local machine you can go back to?

Then you can use the locally recovered mdb file along with the html from the website to rebuild
