Shipping Locations

Hi,
I'm assuming I can do this, but thought I would ask before I do it. The catalog is set up for shipping to Canada & the U.S. My client has decided they don't want to ship to the U.S. They want to stop the U.S. Sales for now. Can I easily remove the U.S. states? That way U.S customers can't place an order at all. (Using Developer)

Hi,

What you need to do is go to the 'View | Business Settings | Shipping & Handling' tab and remove the US zone from the list (right-click and select delet selected item). Then make sure that the 'If Shipping Band Not Defined' option is set to 'Do not allow shipping'. Then no-one from any country other than the ones you have set up will be able to order.
