View Full Version : Only multiples of minimum quantity

In the world that my customer sells in it is normal to quote prices per unit but to only sell in fixed multiples. For example: price per metre, sold by 100 metre roll; price per unit, sold by box containing 12 units; etc.

The product minimum and maximum quantities don't quite do the trick. Using one of the above examples to illustrate: the stuff per metre can only be ordered in quantities of 100, 200, 300, ... metres but Actinic allows 101, 102, ... We don't have any maximum quantities (the more, the better ;) ).

It seems as if this might be possible to achieve with components but I can't work out how. Any suggestions?

Make a component called 1 metre and give it a quantity of 100 for the product, then they can add as many 100 metre components as they like but no inbetweenies.
