Minimum ordering time

Hi

Is there anyway of enforcing a minimum 2 weeks delivery date on my ice sculptures? ie Customers need to order 2 weeks in advance or they must contact us beforehand to see if we can deliver under less notice.

Hi Sheila,

I've never seen a code for this within Actinic. However our advance user guide on page 51 has a section for Specifying a Delivery Cut-Off Time for Orders. Maybe someone can adapt this for dates rather than time.

Another thing to consider would be to use a different product template for ice sculptures, collect a delivery date using the date prompt field but then add additional validation for the values entered to make sure that they are at least two weeks ahead.
