test mode checkout pages

Hi,
running a live version 4 site, and a version 7.02 in test mode. version 4 site uses actinic inbuilt encription, version 7 site using own SSL cert in checkout only.
Test site uploads OK, runs OK until last page of checkout where credit card details are entered when an applet window with the message
" Error reading the order from the applet parameters. This is usually a programming issue, but is probably due to corrupt network transfer of the web page"
Tried reloading etc, could it be linked to the live version 4 site or should the test mode in 7.02 work from start to finish?

Hi Chris

The 7.02 should be a separate site from v4. So it should work from start to finish.

There is a one thing that confuses me, you wrote

version 7 site using own SSL cert in checkout only.
If you are using the java applet, you don't need to set it to use SSL.

One thing i would try, would be to ftp to your site, and go to the test folder inside the /acatalog/

(eg http://www.domain.com/acatalog/test/acatalog/)
In here you will see a "COM" folder. Simply delete it, and refresh the site again. It possible, then you upgraded to v4, it copied the v4 java applet, when it should have replaced them.

the folder you said was there and once deleted and refreshed works great !!!
