v6.1 Full Release [Archive] - Actinic Community

We're pleased to announce the release of Actinic Ecommerce v6.1.0 - Catalog, Business, Developer and Order Manager.

As well as fixing bugs found in previous releases of v6, this version also adds some significant new functionality:

1. Order level discounting
2. New Troubleshooting feature
3. Export a file for submision to Froogle (currently USD stores only)
4. XML-based UPS OnLine® Tools to replace the DataStream tools. (Actinic Business US version)
5. Digital download as an option with Catalog (requires a new license key)

Has the ability to use custom properties with the Brochure pages and fragments been included within this release of the software.

No - Just either download the full version and selet 'Upgrade v6' as you install, or else just get hold of the patch and use that.

No, it has not I'm afraid.

Hi Chris,

Any chance of getting this added into the wish list for a next release or patch maybe.

Seems an aweful shame that it can not be done as the CUSTOMVAR ability is great for enhancing the functionality and appearance of a sites template and as it is not available within the brochure fragments makes it really difficult to keep the same functionality as can be achieved within the normal section/product pages.

We have been using them extensively in a new template we have been working on:
http://www.4suredesign.co.uk/actinic_templates/demos/sporting/winter/package01/ and it is mainly the lack of brochure custom properties that is causing the headaches, so be great if this got included sometime in the future.

Also, are they now or in the future going to be able to include the standard NETQUOTEVAR parsing within the brochure pages maybe?

The cost of the Digital Download license key to existing Actinic Catalog customers is £150 (+ VAT).

If you are buying Catalog and Digital Download as a bundle the cost is £499 (+VAT).
