Importing a new section by itself

Can I create a new section on a spreadsheet file of say 10 products and then import that section of 10 products into my much larger catalog, or does one have to merge the 10 products into an exported spreadheet and then import the entire file to make that work? I believe this is called merging a database if I recall correctly.

The import wizard allows you to do an Update or Replace. If you use Update then you can import the few items you want.

However when testing this I'd recommend copying your entire Site1 to somewhere safe just in case.
