go to checkout

i am setting up our website using actinic, i cant seem to find a go directly to checkout button. Checkout option seems only to appear when you add something to the cart. There will definetley be times when customers will add something to the catalog continue to browse then want to go to checkout, without adding anything further.

i'm sure the functionality must be there but i just cant seem to see it

anyone know or got any advice?

whats the URL?

Normally when someone hits the checkout button on an empty basket, you get a screen which says "your basket is empty"

What you describe as wanting, is the way catalog normally works....

the website isnt running yet its under development on a standalone apache server

i have been putting in a custom navigation link and it looks as though i have deleted the actinic links to basket and checkout

does anyone know the format for these links and i can just add them back in

no spaces in the urls, jusr wack them into your nav bar

Just what I was looking for - figured the basket case (that'll be me then) but just wasn't sure on the checkout.
