Site wont backup

Everytime I do a site snapshot now catalog freezes after a few seconds. I am using Developer 6.1.5 and it appears to be happening on one large site only.

I have done a bit of troubleshooting and worked out that after deleting a section the site will now backup. This is obviously not really good as it will mean that I will have to keep on deleting and undeleting the site everytime I backup and restore.

It could be that there is something in the section which is causing the problem, such as a product referencing an image in a subfolder that the snapshot cannot locate. Check your product within that section (and the section settings itself) to see if you can shed some light on what is happening.
