The web-site which I'm currently working on - I'm trying to use Flash Text on the homepage to link to various pages of the site. I'm creating the text in Dreamweaver MX and saving the SWF files in my web directory.
When previewing the site the flash text appears and the links navigate away from the homepage. However, when I upload the site - the homepage doesn't completely open - it says 10 items remaining which is the number of Flash Text boxes I'm using.
The address is http://www.dowelhurst.net
Can anyone shed some light onto the cause?

add the 10 missing files to addition files in advanced and try uploading again.
if that does not work send the file up using ftp in dreamweaver and put the in the acatalog folder.
Hope this helps

The files are in the acatalog folder on the server but still aren't showing on the homepage.
The only thing I have noticed is that they don't have an application associated with them - do I need to install Flash on the server?

Your home page is in your site root. You could also try using
<embed src="acatalog/flashtext11.swf" .........
or even
<embed src="http://www.dowelhurst.net/acatalog/flashtext11.swf" .........
which will work regardless of whether you're in the acatalog directory or not.

Many Thanks Norman for getting back to me - I've tried both suggestions but the text still can't be viewed.
Is there another way I can try? Is the page I've created situated in the wrong directory on the server?

I've solved the issue by moving the flash text files out of the acatalog on the server and pasting them into the siteroot.
Any further input would be greatly appreciated.
