View Full Version : Actinic isn't overwriting price lists on Sage import

Hello, here I am with Sage / Actinic problems again :( I've decided I hate Sage with a vengeance :mad:

For some reason some of my product price schedules in Actinic refuse to change when I do an import from Sage Line 50 v10 via Actinic Link.

It MUST be an Actinic problem since I have looked at the heirarchical file that Sage dumps out and the correct prices for each price list are recorded next to the product entry. They just don't transfer when I do an import in Actinic. Most products are fine, though a few have different price matrices to all their cousins for no reason! (the tick boxes are different and the discount prices don't relate to any percentage discount/markup I have applied.

Any ideas?

Hi there

Do you get any error message when importing into Actinic? If so, please could you post it on this thread, this would be useful for us to know.

What version of Actinic link are you on? The lastest version is Actinic Link for Sage Line 50 v2.1.2 ENDA, to find out your version, simply go to "C:\Program Files\Actinic Link\Sage Line 50" and double click on "versions.ini".

One thing would be to take a look at the discount help in the helpfile. If you go to Start | Programs | Actinic Link For Sage Line 50 | Actinic Link for Sage Help". Here the help file explains how "Price List" are transferred from Sage to Actinic.

Kind Regards

Hi Nadeem

No, there's no error message. The Actinic Link version file says:

ImportVersion=v2.1.1.0.2
ImportDayno=EJEA
ExportVersion=v2.1.1.0.2
ExportDayno=EJEA

I'll take a look at the help file - thanks.

Hi there Graham

Maybe an idea to upgrade to the latest version, and then check it again.

Kind Regards
