Sending Emails To Customers In Actinic

Hi

We have set one of our customers up with actinic and all is working fine except they are unable to send emails out to the customers in actinic.

They are connected to a big network use exchange 2003 on a windows 2003 server and all normal emails are sent through this.

We have tried various smtp addresses and ip address of the local server and of the web server but on test, it seems to popup saying commication failed?!

Any one have experience of this and what settings should i be looking at using?

On my network under Exchange 2003 the smtp setting in Actinic is exactly the same as used in the POP3 Connector Manager (relay.clara.net) - the test should then fire out an email using your outgoing smtp on exchange and then retreived back from the email server - the user name and password do not need to be set

Have you checked for a firewall issue with Actinic?
