different Act_primary template in Search pages

I have a problem.

I need to have a different act primary template for my search pages than the rest of my shop. How do I do that?

I thought so.

I was hoping there may have been a way to define separate templates but such is life!

If I edit the catalog body template, will this html appear in the search pages?
