Brand new to this and need guidance

Dear All,

I am the newest of the new to setting up shop. I have a site and can build and manage that OK. Now I am building a shop!

After a battle I got my Actinic (trial v6) upoaded ... but have no idea how to find my shop online now!

Any ideas?

Look in advanced network setting, it should be at the place specified in catalog URL.

I tried that and failed, I'm afraid.

Does it matter that the secure server and my main server are different?

That depends on what secure server option you are talking about. If it is a online payment provider or Actinic shared ssl then it should be ok so long as the payment provider is loaded within Actinics choices, but if you are on about having your own ssl on another server which is not Actinic Shared SSL compliant then you could have problems..

I don't have direct access to the secure server with my ISP but they have given me access via a separate link.

What questions do I ask of the ISP?

You need to ask if they have the "Actinic Shared SSL Toolkit" installed on their server that you can link your Actinic site into.

It has to be Actinics Shared SSL or a Host that provides it.

Saying that, some have managed to mangle the ssl on different servers, but they would need to tell you that as it is not something we have done or tried.

OK, thanks. They did tell me that one other business on their server is successfully using Actinic. They are a friendly lot and I'm sure they'll understand what I need.
