I want to set up using stock levels, but I know that most of the orders will be for items 'out of stock' and I will need to order them in.

This is for clothing with different colours and sizes
I have set up the item with permutations so I have a different items for each permutation, and set the stock level of the ones I have in stock.

However, when you try and order an item that is out of stock, you can't, you get a message and cannot proceed.

I hope I have explained this OK, can Actinic cope with using stock levels, but allowing customers to order an out of stock item?

Regards

Mark

If I understand what you want to do, you have to set the "Suspend Orders If Below" field to a negative number. This worked in previous version of Actinic. However, there is currently a problem with version 6 that is being looked at. See thread http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1132 for the recommended work around until the software is fixed.
