Subject says it all really... Have entered prices throughout Actinic without VAT, is it possible to make retail prices display adding VAT and trade without?

Hi Sam,

I'm afraid this cannot be done in Actinic, to show you on the product level what the price is including VAT for unregistered customer, and for trade customer, not showing VAT. However i don't know if you know, if you go into "View | Customer Account", in the "Address" tab along the top, you can exempt a customer from paying tax. So they will see this on the basket.

I will add to the wishlist, the ability to show price including VAT for retail client, and the ability to not show VAT for trade clients.

Kind Regards

This is what I need too for a new client, trade customers do not expect to see tax inclusive prices, and retail customers need to see them included in the price. Is there a way to do this in customer accounts, it is not the same as exempting customers from VAT. Hope so....

Hi Jane,

I'm afraid this also is not possible to do within the current build of Actinic. This has been added to our wishlist item.

Kind Regards

Hi, I seem to be able to display Vat inclusive prices for the retail group but only get Vat exclusive prices for trade group,

the answer to the origonal post should have been yes... site options layout tab, product layout, display prices, inc vat standard would set every product to display inc vat to retail customers

when trade customers login they only see Vat exclusive regardless of whether global display prices inc vat is selected.

this is somewhat of a nark for me because i would like to only allow orders from registered customers.

the trade group want exclusive Vat which is what they see so no problem there, but i want to still display prices inc Vat for retail account holders, there seems to be no option to do this, wish list suggestion...

thanks
