Discount pricing dilemna

Hi
I have products with a weird pricing discount system that I'm trying to set up.
Basically if 1 product costs $40.00 then 2 of the same products cost $38 each and 3 of the products cost $37.00 each.


í.e 2 bucks off each for buying 2
3 bucks off each for buying 3

After 3 then they're all $37.00

Anybody help???

The way I got round this was to have 3 "products" with prod1 being one of it, prod2 being 2 of it, etc. (I then discovered I had to do components to make the stock control work) I guess you then do the multiples above three by setting minimum order quantity to 3...
