Why is my shopping cart .....

1. Not showing any contents when I am shopping?
2. Not taking me back to the previous page once I have confirmed a basket addition?

These seem like fundamental parts of the set up yet they do not seem to work on my site!!! What am I doing wrong????

You mus have cookies enabled for the cart to work. That's how it associates each cart with the correct visitor.
