Offering products at a discount

Can anyone help me.
We sell swings and also attachments that can go with a swing and they are all on the website. I want to be able to sell a swing but offer attachments at a discounted price if they are purchased with a swing. e.g. swing= £50, attachment A=£8 total price=£58. If purchased together there is a discount of £3 so total price=£55
Has anyone got any ideas how I can do this?

You would create a product for the swing and then add the extra attachments at components that are optional, you can create permutations (that are basically different combinations) and set the price for each different combinations. It's a bit complicated but the help file has an example.
