Product Sections

I already have all the products on my site, however I want to create a section where people can view products by manufacturer.

I could copy all of the products that are currently there and order them by manufactuer, but that would meant they would all be duplicates. And if I ever wanted to change the price of say "Red Kong" I would have to find every instance of it and change the price.

Is there any easy way around this ?

If you change the original "master" product price the duplicate will change also

Aha ! I only pasted the product, not duplicated it....

Be aware that not all values are updated with a change in the master eg: short description and full description so ensure you get the master right before creating the duplicates.

Hopefully Atcinic will resolve this issue so duplicates can retain all or some of the master product properties on a user selected basis for each duplicate.
