Shopping mode blanked out [Archive]

I have upgraded a site from v4 to v6.1 developer. Why is the shopping mode blanked out so that I can't change it? I just can't see why.

Whoops developer 6.0.2, does that make any difference?

You need to de-select 'Request Location Information Early' in 'Business Settings | Ordering'. That will enable the shopping mode.
