I have just stumbled across Google Sitemaps. This looks like a great feature to:
a) ensure all pages are listed on google
b) to get search result pages listed on google
Has anyone used Sitemaps yet? Has anyone seen or is anyone writing a Sitemaps generator that works with Actinic?
Thanks, James

Hi James,
This is server side stuff and will require installing a program directly onto the server which will genterate flat files of ALL sites on the server, looks pretty hardcore.
https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/docs/en/about.html
we will be installing the shell in our new server, will let you know how we get on. The beauty for any hosting company is it is a single install and it will then cover ALL sites hosted on that machine. That host machine will then auto upload to google.
However it appears that you can submit directly, it's a hack and someone might know a better method. Look at Mole Ends froogle mash for actinic, run the mash get the data into a txt file, then into a spreadsheet, then get all the links from the spread sheet. (1st column product_url) then save that as a text file in your site one, add that as a text file in Advanced - Additional files in your google sitemaps account point to the URL of your text file eg. yourdomain.com/acatalog/mysitemap.txt
I am going to give this method a go, will let you know the result, just depends if the format is ok for sitemaps.
I am sure that Jan from Mole End can write a program to get the right format for the txt file, then everytime you update your site you uupload your new sitmap txt.
Will post findings as I get them
