Error Message on Site Upload?

Morning All, I'm experiencing something new, and not sure how to fix it!

Made some changes to text, clicked upload site tab......

It gets all the way down to the Merge part at the bottom, and then pops up a little error box that reads:

AN ERROR OCURRED WHILE SENDING THE MERGE REQUEST

I'm a little flummoxed right now....the text changes have been made when viewing the online store, but what does this message mean?

A simple explanation would be best (for my fuddled brain to digest!)

This is a common error - try searching these forums for previous postings.

It can be resolved in a number of ways including Compacting the Database under Housekeeping and using the Passive FTP setting in Advanced Network Setup.

I tend to find it happens when the servers are very busy and it times out - it tends to sort itself out for no apparent reason! As far as I can see it is not an issue other than the nag screen - unless someone knows otherwise?

Ah, okay, thanx for your input. As you say, it does appear to have righted itself already....very odd!

Glad to hear - although very annoying when it sorts itself out and you have no knowledge of how or why - oh well the joys of computing ....
