Is there a way of setting a postage cost for a product instead of doing it by the weight?

The shipping options available are Simple, Total Quantity, Total Value and Total Weight.

Alas you can not mix the above at the moment so shipping by weight is often the preferred choice if you have complex shipping tables by setting product weights accordingly
