Keywords and Site Descriptions

I'm new to Actinic. I've got several sites, but only one of them uses Actinic Catalog.

I've checked all my other sites with Seekbot (www.seekport.co.uk) which gives a readout of how a web bot would see the site, and they all get a good rating. However, when I check my Actinic site at www.cheapdvdsnow.co.uk it tells me I've no site description or keyword.

My brochure home page does have the metakeywords and metadescription parts filled in, but this doesdn't seem to be visible once it's on the website.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Can't blame Actinic because seekbot can't read html code - to see what I mean, just View | Source in your browser.

Your description and keyword tags are there but you are not really doing much for your site with them - beef them up with more relevent page content and not just "cheap dvd" etc.

Thanks for this. Never thouight to look at my own code! However, I'm still confused as to why Seekbot can't see this. It implies that other bots won't see it either.

AFAIK most bots cope fine with the code - do a search on seekbot in the fora, and you should find links to other bots which have no problem with the tags.
