Hi there Ive got 2 Actnic sites working on one server, one for our garden products the other for interiors.
At the moment they have 2 seperate shopping carts that checkout seperatly.
Is there any way that when the client checks out products on both carts are taken in consideration? or that one cart is used for both sites?
Thanks,
Mark

Due to the complexity of the scripts and all the referrer calls to a specific domain you won't be able to do this and it would always take people away from domain1 to domain2 for the shopping cart which is likely to confuse people let alone Actinic and the legalities of making a sale on 1 site and paying through another... and then possibly on to PayPal etc. Nightmare
How likely is it that people will have 2 carts open on the 2 sites at the same time? If it is likely then probbaly worth considering copying products over into each site.

Our 2 sites have a link to each other and Im worried that we're losing sales because customers dont want to pay for carridge a second time.
I agree that the best plan would to be have both sets of proucts on both sites but my boss doesnt want that due to branding.
I didnt think it would be possible but its always worth an ask!
Thanks John.
