Making changes to the invoice.rpt file

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the invoice.rpt file?

There is a load of informtion included on there that I want to get rid of, to try & keep the invoice on 1 page, rather than flowing over to 2 pages.

It is the section with the fields:

Date Ordered, Payment Status, PO Number etc.

This is even more important now I have discovered the label sheets from Integrated Labels!

To modify the reports you need crystal reports Version 8.5

Alternatively, mole-end do a number of reports that might help, or Jan might be able to create a custom report for you.

Ouch Mike! £400 just to make a change to an invoice!

I do like the idea of the flexibilty, but not at that cost :(

It does seem rubbish that you can't make simple changes in Actinic.

I use Sage as well, which is a fairly complicated piece of software, but at least you can make changes to the invoice layout.

You'll often find Crystal Reports 8.5 on ebay. I've no idea on the legality of these versions but the going rate over the last few weeks seems to be about £60.

Just to point out that the £400 is question is the cost of buying crystal reports, not the cost of Mole End making changes to reports.
