Now I am getting better sales that I had planned, I am looking to open another site on the WWW.
At Present using Worldpay.
Questions
1
Can I run two V6 sites from the same computer and what additional licence do I need
2
Can I use the same Worldpay account for both sites
Regards
Chris:confused:

Don't know about Worldpay, but unless you're using Developer, you'll need to buy another license.
Note that this license does not have to be the same type as the original. It's perfectly possible to have one site running as Actinic Business and one as Actinic Catalog - Actinic will jsut enable and disable the extra features when you switch sites.

with worldpay it tends to be if the products are similar then you can talk them round to one account.
if the products are very different them you get a 2nd account ith a set up fee of £75

I must be the exception to that rule as I have a few different sites all under the one account. You can also use the Worldaccess terminal to process orders from anywhere

Back to an earlier reply.
As I understand it, Developer allows you to design any number of sites but has a licence for only one live site. If you want to have multiple sites then you must buy additional licences for each one.

you have to buy a licence for whatever you put on the client's machine.
So with developer you can buy order manager for £149 for the client. The main advantage/disadvantage of order manger is that the client doesn't have the abilty to update their products. whigto me is a big omison.
I have seveloped many sites, but there is no way I want my clients only to have order manager. Some clients cant resist messing with products on a daily basis -- quite rightly so to keep the content fresh.
