Help.
I have a product that is availablw in 2 colours, Black and Grey. I want people to automatically see the correct coloured image depending on which colour selection they make. At the moment I have two products, one under the other - see http://www.memixwatches.com/acatalog/Basic_Productswatches.html
I also make use of the Extended Option. If the default is set to Black then they see a Black product BUT can also click the More button where I show a larger image.
IF they then select the Grey colour option then they should see the image change to the Grey image and of course see a Grey image in the Extended popup window?
Thanks

you could do this and have the pop up come from this file.

Alternatively you can use Radio Buttons to select the choices and display the appropriate image against each button by setting the choice's HTML for name to e.g.
Bug 1<img src="bug-1.jpg" width="100" height="75">
Bug 2<img src="bug-2.jpg" width="100" height="75">
And set the Separator to New Line.
You may need to upload the images via Advanced / Additional Files if they're not used anywhere else on your site.
If you go this way I can also give you some patches that will display the selected image on the shopping cart. See www.snowlines.co.uk where we've thousands of images using this technique.

Thank you to both of you - I will try out and feedback.
Norman, I would love those patches.

Can you e-mail more details of the watch. How does it plug in.
Cheers

Jonathan,
What version of Actinic are you on (Help / About tells all), so I can send you the patches?
If you're only going to have a few products then you can consider hand coding any effects you require.
For example you watches could be displayed with the a tiny bit of custom code to do the selection rather than the default way Actinic does it.
Alternatively you could alter the Radio Button template to suit.
I like fiddling with the way Actinic displays things so I'm happy to help.

p.s. Great product. Cheaper than my 128Mb USB keyring AND it tells the time! How does the integrated strap USB plug manage to be waterprooof?

Thanks. I actually went to your website and may well download the patches.
The USB plug fits in to the strip reasonably tightly but I would not plug it in to my PC directly after I had a shower!
I am getting these designed and manufactured and hope to have them for end of this month if you or our friends want one. The best thing about it, to me anyway, is not that it's also a watch 9and a good one at that) but that it really IS secure beacuse it's a watch. We've all lost keys, USB dongles, etc and this is a very neat way of securing one's data physically and within the watch (password protection).
