login page modification / cart contents removal

Hello everyone :)

I have a loginpage displaying the cart contents... and i cant seem to find out why. If it is using the Act_Primary.html it would display my quicksearch too as in the rest of the pages. So i guess that's not the template it is using.

any ideas?

The quicksearch is automatically hidden from the login page, but the cart-contents are not.

You will need to set a different overall layout template for your login page (one with the shopping cart summary removed) in 'Design | Options | Layouts'.

thx chris - how do i set a different primary template for the shopping cart page?

i want it to use the primaryCheckout - but cant find out where to set this :confused:

The 'View/Edit Cart' page (with the 'Update' and 'Continue Shopping' buttons on) will use whatever template you have as the default overall layout template in 'Design | Options | Layouts'. It is not possible to use a different one at the moment - I will add this to the wish list.
