Hi

My client has recently changed PC's and was originally running the system across 2 machines. 1 for the shop sales and 1 for the web orders.

Looking at the access database, is it possible to copy and paste the customer data from one machine to the other, so that all of the cusomer data can be held and visible on one machine?

Hi,

Yes, you can do that. You can also export the tables from one Database to the other and make sure not to overwrite the other Database, choose append.

Would I perform the append in access or actinic?
Could you please tell me how to do this.

Hi,

You will have to do it in Access. If you have one database open you can export the table you want to by clicking on File | export | .. browse to teh Database you want to update and there it will offer you the option to overwrite or append the data.
