Credit Card Payments

Hi,

I have my website online and am in test mode. Whe I try to test the credit card payment I use a fake card number - it does tell me that it is an invalid number.

Do I have to test with a real number? Or is something not working right (as in I have set it up wrong).

you can use 4444 3333 2222 1111 along with any start and expiry dates for testing purposes

Actinic uses an algorythm to check the validity of the credit card number - different cards adhere to a set format for numbering so if the dummy number you use does not match it will say invalid - this is differnt from actually validating the card to check if there is money available
