How many products?

Is there a way to find out how many products you have in your website without having to count them all one by one?

The reason I ask is a customer has just imported a large catalogue from another company and they seem to be having problems with it, I just wondered if they had gone over the 10000 product limit.

Not sure if it helps but when you upload to Froogle (using Jan's Froogle Mash) - it tells you how many products you have in total.

Just another question regarding this, are the duplicate products counted as a product on there own as well?

The reason I ask is I have 2715 products, that is without duplicates for one catalogue and 7149 products without duplicates for the second catalogue. I am merging both of these catalogues together which makes me think I might be going over the 10,000 products allowed by Business.

Duplicates are treated as "new" products and prefixed with 1! 2! 3! for the various copies of the same master product.

I know some people have gone well over the 10.000 product threshold... some to about 30+ from memory!
