Error 500: Configuration Error. Help please!!

my site has been in use for a few years but yesterday, developed the following problem ( I use developer 7.04)

When you add an item to the basket, it works ok.

But when you go to the checkout you get the following error:

Error 500: Configuration Error

When downloading orders the other day, It showed 'downloading one order' but then said that the order was a duplicate and would be deleted.

I have never had this message before, but the problem seems to have appeared since this happened.

Can anyone help me! my business has stopped!

I will contact Easyspace to see if they have reduced the memory for some unknown reason.
