I have the problem of how to set the shipping up correctly based on several options
Basically the client would like free shipping on orders over £100 And within 100 miles or selected counties
and for other counties a charge for all orders
and for further away counties/locations a Contact us for delivery price
How can I achieve this within Actinic V7

You will need to set the shipping by Total Value and set the By Zone rows to match your 100 mile area / country (you may need to add these in under Advanced | Locations) .... for the 100 mile zone set your shipping costs in rows accordingly and have a row with £100.00 = £0.00 setting "take highest value in table" ... any orders over £100.00 will be set to £0.00 for that location. Set you other areas accordingly

so how do i set the shipping table up?
do i have to list all possible price combinations or can it be done by price range
ie
upto 100 miles
£0.01 > £99.99 = £10 del
£100 > = £0 (FOC)
over 100 miles
£0.01 > £99.99 = £15
£100 > = POA
is this poss?
what about certain products that are FOC no matter of location?

up to 100 miles zone:
£99.99 = £10.00 - everything up to £99.99 is charged at £10.00
£100.00 = £0.00
not possible to set a POA figure in the shipping tables
Setting up FOC no matter of location on certain products will only work using that model if they are over £100.00. You are probably going to need to move over to shipping by weight - that way you can assign dummy weights to certain products to trigger free delivery regardless of cost.
You are probably best setting an artificially low weight against the free anywhere products (eg 0.01kg) and setting the shipping tables to reflect as many as you can ship without cost eg (0.05kg = £0.00) .... setting the weights on the FOC products to be low will allow if someone then adds in a chargeable product on top of the FOC items.
Hopefully future releases of Actinic will have a much more flexible shipping model and allow for combinations of by weight and price etc.
