Are you using a seperate file for that page? NAVBSITEMAP should work in Act_BrochurePrimary as well according to the AUG.

Bill

Where do you exactly put the var in act_brochureprimary?

? can you give some code example?
cheers

If you are using HEADERGUIDE and there is an entry for the site map in Design | Options | Navigation, it should already be included. If you are already using all the available spaces for other navigation destinations, then yes, just <td align="right">NETQUOTEVAR:HEADERGUIDE&nbsp;NETQUOTEVAR:NAVBSITEMAP&nbsp;</td> should get you working.

I have a sitemap link saved in my design|options|navigation but cannot see the sitemap link anywhere. Where should it appear ? and why if I have done this does it not appear? Does actinic automatically create a sitemap?

Also on another thread discussions were on google site map and I went to the link http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ and created a sitemap on there but it only indexded my 8 brochure pages. Why would this be? my site is www.littleeskimo.co.uk and I have links to brochure pages on the top and links to catalogue sections down the sides.

Any help greatfully received.

Donna

Does actinic automatically create a sitemap?
It does and you have one at http://www.littleeskimo.co.uk/acatalog/sitemap.html

Do you have a tick in the box for "Include Site Map on web site' on the sections tab of Design | Options? Do the images referenced on the Naviagtion Tab against sitemap exist?

Hi Bill

Yes I have the included sitemap ticked and the images are gifs that I have created and are referenced correctly. Any other ideas?

Can I submit the url for the sitemap to google sitemaps? Cheers Donna

Can I submit the url for the sitemap to google sitemaps?
No, sorry. The submitted sitemap has to be in xml format and comply to the restrictions imposed by google - do a search here for sitemap and you should find several threads which will help you.

Any other ideas? Are you using NETQUOTEVAR: HEADERGUIDE or FOOTERGUIDE to produce the naviagation - or are you using individual links?

Are you using NETQUOTEVAR: HEADERGUIDE or FOOTERGUIDE to produce the naviagation - or are you using individual links? yes I think I am using header and footer guides. Thanks.

Donna - your page source is highly unusual. Was the site designed for you? You may want to revisit the designer if it was. I will not go into detail here - anyone interested can see the same things I see in the source.

I will PM you some of what concerns me.

I set it up with help from the actinic email helpdesk and trust me I'm a complete novice so anything you think will help me please let me know. Please make sure you talk to me in basic language though as I'm not au fait with the lingo!
