Hello again

Anyone come across this problem?

Cart Contents Box not updating in NS7.0

When I add items to my cart in IE6 the Cart Contents Box updates accordingly but this doesnt seem to work in Netscape 7.0...(mind you im not surprised one bit)!!

Is this a Netscape problem?

:(

Hmm. I would say this is a Netscape problem as the shopping cart summary works fine on Netscape 6.2.

Could you give me your URL so I can check your site in 6.2?

Hey!
I'm having the same problem with NS6.2, NS7 & Mozilla 1.3.

Any ideas?

Thanx!

I'll ask the technical team to take a look.

But in the meantime, if there are any JavaScript gods out there that fancy taking a look at 'actinicextras.js' and seeing if there is anything that Netscape may object to then be my guest.

We think this is a problem with you server as we have been checking out other sites with shopping cart summaries under NS7 with no problems.

Would you be able to let us know:

- What type of server you are running. Is it Windows or Linux? If it is Windows, is it 2002, 2003 etc.

- What web server is running on the server? Is it IIS5, IIS6 etc?

- What version of Perl is installed on the server?

If you let us know these then hopefully we can isolate what the issue is.

Hi Chris!

[What type of server you are running. Is it Windows or Linux? If it is Windows, is it 2002, 2003 etc.]

Windows 2000

[What web server is running on the server? Is it IIS5, IIS6 etc?]

IIS5

[What version of Perl is installed on the server?]

I don't have this information, but if it's of any help, the site is hosted with FastHosts.

Many thanks for your assistance! :)

Hi guys!

Yes it was to do with the server! But as im not that technically gifted I cannot provide much info.

All I can say is that on my local IIS Windows 2000 server Netscape 7 was playing up but once I uploaded the site live to the Easyspace server everything worked fine on NS7 which provers that the perl scripts have to be in a specific place.

Hi All!

Anyone hosting with FastHosts on their Win2000/IIS5 servers have the same problem? And how (if) have you resolved it?

Thanx for your help!
