Hello,

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year.

I didn't unfortunately because of the various issues I'm currently having with a v7 shop.

I have torn out my hair and I still can't see why I'm getting the error message below:

Bad input string "PASS=&PRODUCTPAGE=%2e%2e%2findex%2ehtml&SSLBOUNCE=&RANDOM=NETQUOTEVAR%3aRANDOM&challengeout=be45ec980ef58553ff295a6ba200aa06&challenge=1e9cfe0ad24948d2037f545f809609ea&ACTION=Login&USER=lance%40oxlink%2enet&HASH=9f8f0b1c0fa36894048e2cfde033daf2&&ACTINIC_REFERRER=http%3a%2f%2fnew%2esciencestudio%2eco%2euk%2fcgi%2dbin%2fca000001%2epl%3fACTION%3dSHOWCART". Argument count 20. Follow this link to return to the home page.

After clicking the continue shopping button on an empty basket as a logged in customer.

If anyone thinks they might be able to help, they can go to: new.sciencestudio.co.uk/index.html to see the error in action. Login with username: test and password: test, then click the basket link on the left, followed by the continue shopping button on the view basket page.

Any help greatfully received as it's driving me mad now.

Many thanks.

Angi

That is not happening for me, have tried it and on clicking continue shopping it takes me to the index page. Can you try deleting your cookies and temp internet files and then trying it, could be using a cached page.

Kind regards,

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for trying. It works now though because I've just removed the basket link from the brochure pages (which is where it wasn't working after login).

Sorry, I didn't think anyone was able to help.

Whilst I'm here though, do you know anything about session file permissions issues with Actinic sites on UNIX servers running Apache 2.0? We're having problems in this area but they disappear with the same site on a UNIX server running Apache 1.3.

Angie,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this. I will pass this on to development to see what they have to say and will keep you updated on the status.

Kind regards,

Many thanks, Bruce. It's a real head scratcher. I can give more info on the problem, if required.

Cheers,

Angi
