Advanced Search error when compacted

Hi
Advanced Search looks and works fine if HTML is uncompacted.

However, if I compact HTML the advanced search gets squashed beneath the custom made menu and the 'Search Words' is completely missing.

I've tried copying over another version of Act_Search Template...but its still the same when compacted.

I really need to compact site because of slow connection speeds.

Any ideas gratefully received ?

I know its a pain, but could you take a screenshot of the squished search page and attach it to a posting here as I cannot visualise what you are describing.

HTML compaction normally makes no difference at all. It could be that there is some invalid HTML elsewhere that is causing the browser to not be able to render the search tool correctly.

When compacted ... the area where the advanced search box is going is exactly where I usually have the buttons for

Advanced Search
Checkout
View Cart.

Seemed to work fine until I upgraded from Developer 6.02 to 6.1.2.


Could be the html though.......I'm always changing something.
Whats the best way to go back and apply changes for this particular page?

Sorted problem.
It was my new tracker.....
after re-siting tracker all is working as it should
