Is there a way that we can check spelling within Actinic. I feel sure that I have made some spelling mistakes somewhere on the site (given that I've been working at it way past bed time) Is there a way to check?

If you feel comfortable (and you have MS Access), you can open up the Access DB for your site, and run the Access spell checker against the product text/titles etc.
