not closing after database backup

I am having a problem with v6.12, where you try to exit Actinic, click Database backup, the dialog dissappears, but Actinic does not close.

The only way to exit Actinic is to choose Exit without backup. I have tried re-installing Actinic.

Any clues?

Very strange. It used to do this on v6 before 6.1.0 came out. It should not happen any more though.

I would have recommended the re-installation but obviously you have done that.

In 'Housekeeping | Backup | Shutdown Backup Options' you can set the location that Actinic backs up the database to. Where have you got this set to.

Also, just for the record, what operating system are you using?

The OS on this machine is Win98SE. I have not altered the backup location, and in fact when I check the Site1 folder, it is doing the backups, just not closing. This behaviour isn't linked to a particular site, as it happens on the demo site just after installation.

Addendum:
I just tried to re-set the location for backups, still to the Site1 folder. Actinic now closes fine!

There is a 'design' feature is the dialog that appears on exit in that if you an invalid directory set for your database backup Actinic closes the dialog and then does nothing, could this be what is happening?
