Error when importing snapshot

When pulling the .acd snapshot file off of the website to our local computer drive all is ok but when we go to import the snapshot in to our computer we get an abort with message:

Exceptions - fatal errors
(File SnapshotWizard.cpp, Line 977) - C:\DOCUME~1\RUSSSC~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\AS12.tmp has a bad format.


Does anyone know about this?

Dont know why the snapshot was saving a file in a directory outside of the site directory.

Which version are you using

I am using v6.1.2

There are two possibilities.

Either the the snapshot is corrupted, in which case you should try downloading it again.

Alternatively, when the snapshot was created a file was pulled in on the PC becasue it was referred to in the database or via one of the templates. I find this rather unlikely as the file is a system file.

I would receommend asking the people who gave you the snapshot to try giving you another one and for them to test it before giving it to you.
