Banner Ads gone after upgrade

Hi All

Just been upgraded from v4 to v6 - I was using banner ads throughout my v4 catalogue and although they're still on the PC, they don't show online anymore.

I find them a useful tool to show finished products at the top of some product sections and they were working fine before the upgrade.

I may have missed something totally obvious - any suggestions?

Sorry to reply to my own post but the question is a bit important to little old me.

I've check the AUG, the knowledge base et all - it would appear that the upgrade hasn't affected the code or anything that could stop the banner ads from showng online.

Has v.6 just wiped out this function? Could a kind soul just please put me out of my misery on this?

looks like you have a new Act_Primary.html file being used. Did you have to use the site upgrader.

If you still have the V4 site upload both the Act_Primary.htm* from there and from the V6 site1 folder to this forum and we can look

you will have to zip them or change extension to .txt

Thanks for looking at these - I don't know how the site was upgraded as I had to send my PC off to have the site moved and had the upgrade done at the same time.

I've saved them as .txt files and it's all greek to me!

Trying to attach the text files - I add them to "attach files" bit but they don't seem to be adding!

Cant see banner code in either of these. Do you have the banner code?

use my e-mail address from profile and send a V6 (latest patch) snapshot and the banner code

I'm using embedded html in my product description, disabling on-line ordering and hiding on website.

Code for one example:

Images are all uploaded to site 1 folder.

I've tried different layouts, creating a new banner ad from scratch - they just do not show at all yet it worked a dream in v4.

Driving me bonkers as I can find no information at all - I originally learnt how to do banners from a posting on the original Actinic Lyris board so there must be others out there who are using this technique.

After a silly amount of faffing around, I've finally fixed it.

Not at all as described in the AUG and it means that I've got to manually do every flipping one.

And "hide on website" was required to make it work in v4.
