HI,
I am building a site for a recruiment agency who want to display job ads and take in applications online. Although this would be better done with ASP, it could possibly be done with Actinic. The difficult bit I think would be reconfiguring the ordering pages into an application form.
Has anyone done something simlar before?
Cheers,

Kevin,
If you haven't found a solution then give me a bell - my content management system works 100% for this sort of thing. You can have the customer fully control the content of job boards.
Including selection between trades / divisions.
http://www.trojanrecruitment.co.uk is a good example of a site that is using this method.
Works nicely on google as well - #3 out of 416,000 for construction industry recruitment as the search term!

You would have to think fairly laterally, but I cannot see a reason why this cannot be done in Actinic.
All the questions in the checkout are renamable and you can edit the HTML templates to turn text fields into check boxes and drop-downs as required. You can change all the text as well to change references to 'Add to Cart' to 'Apply or 'Register' and change references to 'Shopping Cart' to 'My Jobs'.
If you were using Actinic Business then you can use custo properties to create custom search terms to allow people to browse by sector and area.

We have used Actinic for a stock finder so like Chris I think you just need to rid of anything that mentions prices/order etc
