Payment method shown in customer receipt email [Archive]

I tried to include NETQUOTEVAR:PAYMENTMETHODNAME in Act_OrderRecEmail.html, hoping that this would cause the chosen payment method and description to be shown in the customer receipt email. But nothing happens.
How could this be accomplished then ?
