Had a major revamp of some of the templates, need a site check please.
TIGGYPIG - GADGETS AND GIFTS (http://www.tiggypig.com)
Appreciate any feedback guys.
Mark
Front page : Email address box is a bit small, might encourage typos.
Some of the pages are taking a long time to load.
Review script : if you submit an empty fom you get the error below
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0007'
Out of memory
/acatalog/reviewscript.asp, line 238
Prestige Pool Table - the comment about Kylie and baken beans has a space before the closing bracket, but no space after the opening bracket.
Casino combo hasn't got the currency converter on it. The button positioning is a bit odd on this one as well.
On the currency converter it looks as if the space before Euro is also underlined.

the site runs very slowly indeed, on broadband!
I personally don't think the background image fits well underneathe the catalog table, especially at the top of the screen

Interesting.....I just tried to get the index page to load again, it took 28 seconds.
Then clicked on Blood pressure monitor ...that took 23 seconds
I don't think it is my connection this forum is working at normal pace.

Thanks Guys, I'm going to try and get the front index page to run via catalog to speed it up. I know its a bit graphic intensive at the mo and a tadge slow.
Hopefully the rest of the site should load OK now as I've redone all the sections and graphics and each product has its own individual page.

Well, I've made a few more changes (with some help), just need to get the front page sorted now for a better download time.
Also need to get the whole site Googleised....... any offers?

Yeah, but thats via E-Spotting. Which we pay per click on.
I'd really like to get the front page sorted initially to get the download time to a inimum, thats a major hurdle that is being undertaken.
Secondly though, I want to get the page optimsed for Google and linked to plenty of other sites. That one of the reasons I suggested we should all link to each others sites, even if it's just a text link with a URL, it would all be in benefit of each others rankings.

Just a big thanks to everyone who commented on our site for our site check.
Got the site up and running at www.tiggypig.com TIGGYPIG (http://www.tiggypig.com ) if you now want to have a look.
Have added loads of extra stuff oto the pages and hopefully its not taking too long to load up now as it once did. there are still afew tweaks, and I'm slowly getting all the product images replaced to be clearer and faster.
Still welcome your comments though, thanks the Steve "The Shadow" Quinn at Harlequin for his fab tech help when we got stuck, can't recommend them highly enough.
If you still have any comments though, I'd be pleased to hear them.
Ta... and hope to see yuou all here at Xmas getting your goodies... heheheh (Shameless plug there)

just tidied up a bit, redid all the graphics, got rid of the front page and moved it all into brochure page so entire site is now run from within actinic.
Redid the product graphics, moved everything into its own page so each product now loads up separately.
Talk to steve at Harlequin about the review thingy, he did a fab job for us, I'm sure he can help you.
Email me and I'll give u his number Jo.
(Steve, if you read this, am I on commission?) :D
