Hi,

I've just added a 'new section' to the 'content tree' and refreshed the site but it is not showing in the list amoung the other sections. I can access it if I type the new section url into my browser but not from anywhere else.

If it's something simple please forgive me and I will feel suitably embarassed!

how about a URL and the name of the section you cannot see?

otherwise we have absolutely no idea where to look or what to look for.

sorry. here's a link to show you what customers see:

http://www.purskincare.co.uk/acatalog/face-care.html

and here's the missing page:

http://www.purskincare.co.uk/acatalog/sun_care.html

thanks

the sitemap doesn't show the extra link either (acatalog/sitemap.html)

try deleting suncare.html from the remotre server and refresh the site

Hi pinbrook,

the delete and refresh doesn't do it. i have a sneaky suspision that it may be hard coded, because of a similar problem i had last year. problem is i don't play with actinic often enough to remember what the hell i did last time!

if that should be the case could you advise (remind) me on which template i'd need to look at?

thanks in advance

Done!

Thanks for the "trail of thought" prompt. It was a problem I've had before and was remedied by added the code by hand into act-primary.

funny how I never would've remembered unless I came on here.:o

:)

The thing I prefer/enjoy about forums, is being able to nudge someone into solving the problem for themselves, I find that more pleasurable than giving a definitive this is what you do reply.

Its never a suprise to me either, that often having to compose a post to ask a question often clarifies thing sufficiently to see the answer too
