Show Total Weight of Order

Hi everyone,

Since we calculate shipping costs based upon weight, I thought it would be nice to show the customer the total weight of his or her order before they check out. Is this possible?

It is not possible to show the total weight of the order with Actinic. This is on a wish list and I will add a vote for you.

Is this available in V8?

Is there a way to find out the total weight of each order and include it in the data entry report? (either now or v8?)

This is still not a feature in v7 or in v8. I have added your request to the wish list so it may be a part of a future maintenance release.

it would be nice to have a clearer method of adding to basket and having shipping calculated and shown in the basket as the shopping proceeds.

I know we can juggle with "request location info early" and change the quantity to shopping basket/or checkout (can't remember the correct combo required here). I have tried the later and found the resultant experience for the customer abit confusing. To many clicks to simply add to basket and get shipping cost.

Can this be looked at for a future release please, quantity on product page, add to basket, on view basket page, click button to request shipping calculation - thus shipping destination requested, shiping cost shown
