Hi,

I am currently testing Actinic ecommerce V6 using my localhost.

I have set up Apache V1 correctly together with Warftp and tested the network setup - all seems to work fine.

However when I go to Update/Refresh the site, the folllowing message appears

"An error occurred while writing to "acatalog" on the web site. The problem is probably due to permissions problems, but could be due to low disk space. Actinic Ecommerce can not work with these settings. Press Cancel if you would like to manually examine the permissions and disk space on the web site. Press Retry if you would like Actinic Ecommerce to attempt to change the permissions on the directory for you."

I have attempted to change the permissions but to no avail..

Is it simply that I have not enough room left on my harddrive?

help!!

how much room have you got on your hard drive?

You have to manually create the acatalog directory (usually within htdocs) on your Windows server. Also the sub-directories within it. Instructions are in the advanced guide. If you fail to do this you may get an error message like the one you're seeing.
